“….In-demand guitarist Craig Fermanis leads a new trio comprised of old friends and frequent collaborators Sam Anning (double bass) and Danny Fischer (drums).

A finalist in both the Wangaratta National Jazz Awards and the James Morrison Jazz Scholarship, Craig is featured prominently on several recent releases, included the highly-acclaimed debut album by Julien Wilson’s ‘Stock’. For this MJC performance he’s back leading a trio and performing some new music written this year, as well as tunes by Carla Bley and Cedar Walton.

This trio was also the rhythm section for tours in 2017 & 2018 of “The Rolling Stones Project” led by Rolling Stones touring band members Tim Ries and Bernard Fowler.

“One of the most gifted young guitarists I have had the pleasure to teach.” Jim Hall …”
