The 2020 AgBioEn Kooyong Classic  had a late start due to the smokey condition from the Bushfires and commenced at 1:00pm with conditions set to clear

Tournament Director, Peter Johnston announced this morning that authorities were monitoring the conditions of the smoke hazed skies.

‘The health and safety of the players, spectators and all involved in the Kooyong Classic event is paramount’ said Johnston.

Laura won the exhibition match 7-6, 5-5 after condtions became too hot and humid for the players;  long games and a mutual request from the both players, with Laura taking the next game after scores were level at 5-5 in the second set.
