Docklands Blues Music Festival 2014 Saturday 5th October 2014
If you did not attend, you missed out on a great free for all music event, that featured many bands on five stages within the Docklands complex.
The fest started at 11:00 AM and finished at 9:00 PM with over 20 blues acts featuring the Desert Blues Cartel, Safari Motel, Justin Yap Band, Sweet Felicia & The Honeytones, Rod Paine & The Fulltime Lovers, Jesse Valach Blue Mountain, Blue Eyes Cry, Kelly Auty’s Wild Women, Dreamboogie, Greg Dodd & The Hoodoo Men, Johnny Reiger Band, Jimi Hocking Band, Mojo T’Ree, MBAS Youth In Blues, Wayne Jury, Oscar Lalor Band, Supporting Women In Blues Band, Dan Dinnen, Brian Fraser, Nick Charles and John McNamara.
I photographed few of the events on four of the five stages – and missed out on the events at the Harbour Town Hotel.
It was the first time I attended this event which drew quite a huge crowd. The regulars said it was bigger and better than last year. The Wonderland Spiegeltent was packed to capacity.
