Mapping Melbourne 2018  Programme Launch

A special preview into this festival that covers over 15 days and 14 venues, the 6th edition of Mapping Melbourne creates new perspectives, new possibilities and new expressions through a series of intercultural, multi-artform events in the heart of Melbourne.

In the published  programme, Veronica Pardo, CEO, Multicultural Arts Victoria who launched the festival at the M Pavili0n, writes:

“Mapping Melbourne is a unique platform that places artists at the centre of an important dialogue about the role of culture in nation building, exploring keys themes of identity, place and belonging.
What are the things that connect us, as humans beings? Where does culture collide and what are the new intersections that those collisions reveal? Join us in exploring these and other critical conversations over two exciting weeks.”

The event will be exhibiting and performing at some of the most iconic institutions and public spaces that feature profiles of established and emerging artists from across Australia, China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
